Every device is genuine, sealed and covered by warranty. Order today and we deliver in 1 to 2 hours across Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, and within 12 hours to the rest of the UAE. Delivery is free on orders over AED 400. Sales are restricted to adults aged 18 and over.

What the IQOS ILUMA i actually is

The IQOS ILUMA i is a heated tobacco device built around the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM. Instead of a heating blade sitting inside the stick, the heating element is built into the TEREA stick itself, and the device activates it by induction. Nothing touches the tobacco from the outside.

Two things follow from that design. There is no blade to snap, and there is nothing to clean between sessions. You slide a TEREA stick in, the device starts on its own, and you pull the used stick out when you are done.

Preheating takes 20 seconds on all three models, and a session then runs up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs. Every kit ships with a one year device warranty.

The ILUMA i only works with TEREA sticks and other SMARTCORE STICKS. It does not work with HEETS. If you are moving up from an older IQOS 3 DUO, your HEETS packs will not fit this device.

What the ILUMA i added over the older ILUMA

The first ILUMA generation introduced induction heating. The ILUMA i generation kept that and added control on top of it.

A touch screen sits on the front of the ILUMA i and the ILUMA i Prime. It shows battery level, session progress and settings without you having to count LED blinks.

FlexPuff watches how you draw. A standard session runs up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. If tobacco is still left when you reach that point, the device extends the session and gives you up to 4 more puffs. FlexPuff runs on all three ILUMA i models.

FlexBattery gives you two battery modes. Performance mode holds the holder at up to 3 consecutive uses. Eco mode trades some of that for battery lifespan, and IQOS states it can add up to a year to how long the battery lasts. This is available on the ILUMA i and the ILUMA i Prime.

Pause mode lets you stop mid session for up to 8 minutes and come back to the same stick. It is on the ILUMA i and the ILUMA i Prime, it runs in Performance mode only, and you can trigger it inside the first 3 minutes or 8 puffs. Note that pausing and FlexPuff do not run together in the same session.

Auto start, auto stop and device lock are on all three models.

ILUMA i One, ILUMA i Standard and ILUMA i Prime side by side

Charge times differ. The ILUMA i One refills in 90 minutes over USB-C. The Standard and the Prime charge their pocket chargers over USB-C too, and the charger then tops the holder up through the day, which is why the number matters less on those two.

IQOS ILUMA i One

The ILUMA i One is one piece. Holder and battery sit in the same body, so there is no pocket charger to carry and nothing to dock. A full charge covers up to 20 sessions back to back, and the device refills in an hour and a half.

What you give up is the touch screen, FlexBattery and Pause mode. What you get is the lowest entry price on this page and the smallest thing to carry. At AED 169 it is the model most people start on.

Stocked colors: Breeze Blue, Vivid Terracotta, Midnight Black, Lime Green, Digital Violet and Electric Purple. See the full range on our ILUMA i One page.

IQOS ILUMA i Standard

The ILUMA i Standard is the middle model and the one that carries the full feature set at a normal price. Holder and pocket charger come as a pair. The holder handles up to 3 sessions back to back, then sits in the charger to refill.

You get the touch screen, FlexPuff, FlexBattery and Pause mode. At AED 265 it is the model to pick if you want everything the ILUMA i generation does without paying for the Prime finish.

Stocked colors: Violet, Vivid Terracotta, Breeze Blue, Midnight Black and Electric Purple. See the full range on our ILUMA i Standard page.

IQOS ILUMA i Prime

The ILUMA i Prime runs the same four smart features as the Standard: touch screen, FlexPuff, FlexBattery and Pause mode. Same holder behaviour, same 3 consecutive uses in Performance mode, same 20 sessions from the pocket charger. What you pay extra for is the finish on the pocket charger, which is the part you actually hold and the part people see.

Here is the part worth knowing. IQOS UAE lists the ILUMA i Prime at AED 400. We sell it at AED 350 to AED 370 depending on the color, so on this model you are paying less than official retail, not more. The Garnet Red is a limited edition run.

Stocked colors: Midnight Black, Breeze Blue, Aspen Green, Garnet Red Limited Edition and Electric Purple. See the full range on our ILUMA i Prime page.

IQOS ILUMA i price in Dubai and the UAE

Prices below are live on this page today. They already include the discount, and there is no extra charge for cash on delivery.

Two notes on cost. Card and wallet payments carry a 5 percent government tax at checkout. Cash on delivery and bank transfer do not. Standard delivery is AED 25 and express is AED 30, and both are free once your order passes AED 400.

Running the device is the other half of the bill. A carton of TEREA sticks holds 200 sticks and runs AED 120 to AED 200, which works out at AED 0.60 to AED 1.00 per stick.

Which TEREA sticks work with the ILUMA i

Every TEREA stick works with every ILUMA i model. There is no flavor that only fits the Prime, and nothing changes when you move between models.

We carry TEREA in six country editions, including Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Uzbekistan, and across the full flavor range. The country matters for the blend, not for compatibility.

If you are new to the range, the Amber and Sienna lines sit on the tobacco side and the Yellow and Blue lines sit lighter. Browse the full range on our TEREA flavors page and order sticks in the same delivery as the device.

How to use your IQOS ILUMA i

1. Charge the device fully before the first session. The ILUMA i One takes about 90 minutes and the ILUMA i Standard about 2 hours 15 minutes.
2. Slide a TEREA stick into the holder until the line on the stick meets the rim. Do not twist it.
3. The device starts on its own. Wait for the ready signal.
4. Draw as you normally would. The session runs up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, and FlexPuff adds up to 4 more if tobacco is left.
5. Pull the used stick straight out and bin it. There is no blade to clean and no cap to slide.
6. On the ILUMA i and the Prime, set Eco mode in the settings if you want to stretch battery life over the long run.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the IQOS ILUMA i cost in Dubai?

The ILUMA i One starts at AED 169, the ILUMA i Standard at AED 265 and the ILUMA i Prime at AED 350. Electric Purple versions sit higher across all three models. Prices on this page are current and already include the discount.

What is the difference between the ILUMA i One, ILUMA i and ILUMA i Prime?

The One is a single unit with up to 20 sessions per charge, no touch screen and no Pause mode. The Standard and the Prime are holder plus pocket charger, and both add the touch screen, FlexBattery and Pause mode. The Prime differs from the Standard only in finish and price.

Does the IQOS ILUMA i work with HEETS?

No. The ILUMA i heats from inside the stick, so it needs TEREA or other SMARTCORE STICKS. HEETS have no heating element built in and will not work.

Do I need to clean the IQOS ILUMA i?

No. There is no heating blade inside the holder, so there is no residue to brush out and no cleaning stick to buy. Wipe the outside when it needs it.

How long does one session last?

Up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. FlexPuff can extend that by up to 4 puffs when tobacco is still left in the stick.

Can I buy the IQOS ILUMA i online in the UAE?

Yes. Order from this page and we deliver in 1 to 2 hours inside Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, and within 12 hours across the rest of the UAE. You must be 18 or over.

Which ILUMA i should I buy first?

If you want the lowest price and the least to carry, take the ILUMA i One at AED 169. If you want the touch screen, Pause mode and FlexBattery, take the ILUMA i Standard at AED 265. The Prime is the same machine in a different shell.
